A new model show took place at the Elvington Air Museum, home of Halifax bomber "Friday The 13th" at the weekend and the "Bulldogs" attended.
A good day out was had by all.
This was the ideal opportunity to give the big old bolt its first outing to a show and it attracted a lot of attention and I enjoyed chatting to quite a few modellers and vistors, many of whom have this kit but are yet to start building it.
It dwarfed the 1:48th P-47's so I guess I'm going to have to build a couple of 1:32 to go with it

When I checked on this thread earlier today to answer a question for somebody about the VFS P-47 I was amazed to see it has clocked up over 21'000 views!
I hope it has been beneficial to anyone building this great kit!
I've decided to make it a "sticky" and while I'm at it I thought I'd add a few photos of "Hairless Joe" taken at various shows, and also this comparrison photo to show the size of this beast. L-R are 1:48, 1:32, 1:24th Jugs
