I have the beautiful MDC cockpit set but I'm having some difficulty following the instructions. I'm trying to assemble the brake master cylinders and rudder pedals but I can't make out how they go together and mount. Can anyone clarify this for me?
Many thanks

Hi Kieth.
Allen (Tomcat31) has just put one of these into his Hasegawa kit and I'm sure he'll be able to help you out next time he drops by.

Thanks Nige just Drop me in it

The instructions are the only failing of this amazing detail set

Hi Keith and welcome to P-47 Heaven, Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the rudder pedals (although I thought I had) the best shot I have is this one

It's hard to explain what I did but I think the master cylinders are supposed to attach to part R5 and go up to where the redder pedals attach to part R12 mine didn't fit too well so I severely trimmed mine to fit.

A couple of other points to watch out for is in Step 1 Part R22 is actually R17 and R26 is R25 and in Step 12 Part R55 and R56 should be the other way round.

Other photos of my build for inspiration can be found Here

Hope this helps

Thanks Allen your article it's inspiring. I've had my kit since it first came out but I've been wating for the 'goodies' to come out. I pre-ordered the Avionix cockpit but was dissapointed when it came so I waited for MDC, a different league! One thing I noticed that I don't have is the undercarrage PE set. I want to build 'Coffey's Pot' of the 365th FG. I new a pilot from the 387th FS, unfortunately he passed in March.
I'll let you know of my progress.
Many Thanks Guys
