Yet another great build Darren, well done. I have a couple of sets of Thundercals stashed away, so your positive feedback on them is gratefully received.

One day you have to post a couple of pics of your display of P-47's, there must be quite a few there !

Nice looking Jug.
The top of the cowling is blue but not the area aft to the windscreen unless "Bette" was different than other 19FS machines.

IT WAS different and early on had the anti glare all the way to the windscreen. It went through many changes including having just the vertical stripe,( deleted from the stabs) NO aft fuselage blue, NO anti glare color at all - even on the cowling and with plenty of very faded paint and rust colored metal areas. at one point, over all the heavy weathering, it had fresh fuselage stripes and national insignia applied + the name Captivatin kate. Like most 19th FS razorbacks on Saipan, it went through a lot of exterior changes.

Yes.I have more 318th in the "works". In fact a new release coming soon - PTO but not 318th - that's a few releases later. More info in a few weeks.

David - New PTO P-47s Thundercals are now available. Sorry, no 318th this time- all 58th FG.
