Last week, I discovered (through a link from this side ? ) a specialist modeling tools company on http://www.micromark.com. They may be a household name in the US (?), but I never heard of them. Navigating the site doesn't bring the best overview, but I found a "order you free catalog" button...

This morning, a little catalog was in my mail (from the US to Europe... !)
For a scratchbuilder, these are the best little toys I could dream of. I'll show it to my wife in case she needs ideas for my birthday present. There's certainly something useful in there ... for my coming 534 birthdays !
:-) :-) :-)

I don't have the habit of making advertising, but this is real neat stuff. Prices seem correct, too.

Does anyone have experience with this company ?

Jan,

I have ordered from them several times and had no problems at all. Not even when an order was missing an item. I simply e-mailed them and they mailed it to me within a week!
Highly recommmended! They have all these neat tools that are very useful. They have a good selection of glues and paints too. :-)

Jan,
I ordered from them a few times and had no problems at all. They also have those non-rolling, comfy-grip hobby knives. :-)

I've ordered untold quantities of stuff from MicroMark. While there have occasionally been back orders or an item has been discontinued, they have never made a single mistake on an order.

They have a real knack for finding and rebranding the most useful tools for modelers. For the most part, their prices are very competitive Sometimes I'll find an item cheaper somewhere else, but I often order it from them anyway, based on customer service and the fact that I can order multiple items and save on postage.

A couple of recently bought items I'm getting good use out of are the #14294 small chisels, and #81845 small file set w/handle.

Someday, I hope to buy one of their magnetic gluing jigs #60304.

-Neil

p.s. Last year they even printed one of my "thank you" blurbs in a catalog sidebar, but it has since rotated out

My turn to chime in here too - MicroMark is a great supplier. I've never had a problem with getting an order fufilled quickly and accurately.
