Rob

I would go for the one from RDG tools, not the 'cute elephant' shaped one. I have an RDG tools compressor - the very same one and it is a good bit of kit. I would recommend getting a further in line moisture trap - PM me for details of what i use.

Rob, I suggest you get this one instead from RDG Tools. At 79.99 it's slightly more expensive- only 5.50 if you subtract the cheaper Postage (7.50 instead of 12.00). The storage tank makes a HUGE difference!

I guess the million dollar (or pound) question is... Tank or No Tank? (no pun intended - hehe)

I too, am looking into a new compressor. My current one is an Ingersoll Rand... 10-100 lbs., but VERY noisy. I am leaning toward as portable, 2 gallon tank model, I can pick up under $80.

Is the tank really worth it?

The tank helps stopping fluctuating pressure and also acts as a water filter.
