Operational Overview
The idea is to build any Sherman Tank or a Sherman derivative that saw action, or was used in training. Any theatre, any country or time frame.

The M4 Sherman, formally Medium Tank, M4, was the primary tank used by the United States during World War II. It was also distributed to the Allies via lend lease. It was the first American medium tank with a fully traversing turret for the main gun.

Production of the M4 medium tank exceeded 50,000 units and its chassis served as the basis for numerous other armored vehicles such as tank destroyers, tank retrievers, and self-propelled artillery.

The Sherman and its variants continued to be used in training and combat into the late 20th century, it was comparatively fast and maneuverable, mechanically reliable, easy to manufacture and service, and produced in many special-purpose variants, whose capabilities differed greatly.

In this Campaign you have the opportunity to build one of the many variants of the M4 Sherman or one of the many machines based on its' chassis.

The Rules and Regs
Rules and Regulations:
– Must build a model that is a Sherman Tank or a Derivative.
– You can build a model in any Scale or time period.
– No What if's
– Diorama's are allowed
– Must post at least one picture of the finished Model in the Campaign Gallery
– Must post at least one progress picture in the Campaign Gallery or thread.
– Must have FUN

Contest Element
One ribbon will be awarded to each modeler that posts a picture of the finished model as well as a least one progress picture.

PLEASE NOTE: Progress pictures are highly encouraged (as stipulated by the Campaign Administrator), as are tips for fellow campaigners.
