Operational Overview
Eastern Europe is a region lying in the Eastern part of Europe. The UN Statistical Division includes the following countries in the broad desription of that region :

Albania
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Bulgaria
Croatia
Czech Republic
Hungary
Montenegro
Poland
Serbia
Slovakia
Slovenia
Romania
The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
Ukraine
Armenia
Azerbaijan
Belarus
Bulgaria
Estonia
Georgia
Latvia
Lithuania
Russian Federation
Ukraine
Uzbekistan

And after WWII until recently :

East Germany (DDR)
USSR
Czechoslovakia
Yugoslavia

Countries in this region have a rich history in the use of Armored vehicles, including many Soviet era types after WWII, country specific machines during and prior to WWII, and recently NATO weapons systems (since the fall of the iron curtain).

In this campaign you have the opportunity to build any armored or softskined military vehicle, during the period 1914 to 2011.

Research is highly recommended into the different vehicles used, the units to which they belonged, as well as the history of those nations.

The Rules and Regs
Rules and Regulations:

– Builds can not start before the start date.
– Must build a AFV or Softskin Vehicle that is / was used by an Eastern European Country .
– Markings must be Eastern European
– You can build a model in any Scale or time period from 1914 to the present - including figures.
– No What if's
– Diorama's are allowed
– Must post at least one picture of the finished Model in the Campaign Gallery
– Must post at least one progress picture in the Campaign Gallery or thread.
– Must have FUN

Contest Element
One ribbon will be awarded to each modeler that posts a picture of the finished model as well as a least one progress picture.

PLEASE NOTE: Progress pictures are highly encouraged (as stipulated by the Campaign Administrator), as are tips for fellow campaigners.
