Heyas everyone.. Im starting on plans to build a spray booth and wondering if anyone has used this item in their booth (or a similar one). I plan to build one about 28 wide, 18 high, and about 17 deep... with a exhaust hose.. Any help on this would be appreciated.. just wondering if the cfm is to high or to low.

You may want to do a google for fume hood ducting or something like that. I am by no means an expert but I think the CFM on the fan depends a bunch of different factors. I think the diameter of the hose (duct) and length of travel on the ducting are two of them. Again, I'm no expert, but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last nite.

My best friend built a spray booth using a range hood that you would find over a stove in your house.....works very well.....just attached some dryer vent house to vent it outside....and used White MFD board for the sides and the back. Added a small flouresent drop light to the range hood...and viola...nice spray booth!!
